Under the hood is a Scott Shafiroff prepared 509" big block Chevy which has powered Scott to a best (on gas ) of 8.51 @ 159 mph. Hooked to the Quick Fuels carb is a Biondo in-line throttle stop controller which allows Scott to slow the car for super class racing.

Remove the lightweight hood and you can see Strange struts, a Ron Davis aluminum radiator and a 4 gallon Jaz fuel cell.

To make between round refueling easier, this neat little fuel door was added, eliminating the need to remove the hood. |

Also visible is the single wheel wheelie bar to keep the front tire planted on launch and the adjustable rear spoiler to keep the car planted & stable in high gear. |
