S&W Race Cars new 82-02 Camaro / Firebird torque arm is designed to the samespecifications as our own ³ race bred² ladder bars. Made of high quality,1² x .156² wall DOM steel tubing, each torque arm is ³direct threaded² for maximum strength. Also utilized at the rear of the torque arm are the same ³race proven ³ rod ends and adjusters featured on S&W¹s ladder bars. Up front each torque arm features an Energy Suspension polyurethane bushing for quieter ride and limited driveline vibrations while insuring high strength and long life. S&W Race Cars new 82-02 Camaro / Firebird torque arm must be used with an S&W Race Cars, 82-92 Camaro / Firebird subframe connector & crossmember kit, sold separately. All components are powder coated black for a long lasting, durable and attractive finish.
NOTE! THIS TORQUE ARMS ARE FOR APPLICATIONS USING THROUGH-BOLT MOUNTING TO ATTACH THE TORQUE ARM TO THE REAR HOUSING ONLY. Applications using an aftermarket housing which utilizes 4 threaded mounting hole should used torque arm # 40-606
